Acute angle closure glaucoma (congestive glaucoma)

Herpes zoster opthalmitis
Orbital infection
Corneal abrasion
Endopthalmitis
Iritisuveitis
c) TREATMENT OPTIONS
MEDICAL
Tab dimox(acetazolamide) 250mg 2 tab stat & 1 tab 8 hourly
Local surfactant eye drops and antibiotics
Asprin for pain & gardinil for sleep
Surgical
Trabeculoectomy, surgical iridectomy
Prophylactic peripheral laser iridotomy in both eyes.

Q2: A80 y female presents to you with decrease vision in L eye having pain in L eye & headache on examination, mature cataract is present with ant chamber and raised IOP

Initial treatment is concerned about lowering IOP using a combination of topical & systemic IOP lowering agents
