LMDC Admissions

Lahore Medical & Dental College offers programs leading to internationally recognized degrees in both medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) as well as pharmacy, public health, and physical therapy – leading to degrees respectively through our newly developed branches and associated colleges.

he study and practice of medicine requires integrity, compassion, scholarship, responsibility, devotion and intellectual curiosity. The individual’s educational and other life experiences prior to medical school should demonstrate and strengthen these qualities.

Pakistani Applicants:

  1. A candidate must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks from any Board or University.
  2. A candidate must have appeared in the Provincial Entrance Test of their respective province of domicile.
  3. The students age at the time of admission should not be more than    25 years and not less then 17 years. This is in line with the admission regulations of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.

 

British Applicants:

*International applicants – please email us at admissions@lmdc.edu.pk and we will be glad to help you with the admission process. Your entire application can be processed and completed online.

1) Successful completion of A levels with strong GPA.
2) During study  students should have completed the subjects of Biology & Chemistry.
3) Successful completion of SAT II exam in which they have scored above 550 in the subjects of biology & chemistry. You may also take the local MCAT exam held in Pakistan as a replacement to the SAT 2.
4) If SAT II exam has not been taken then the US MCAT exam is also acceptable.
5) Equivalency certificate from the Intern Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).  You may find information on IBCC here.

 

American – Canadian Applicants:

1) Successful completion of US High School (through grade 12) with a strong GPA (diploma & transcript)
2) During high school students should have completed the subjects of Biology & Chemistry.
3) Successful completion of SAT II exam in which they have scored above 550 in the subjects of biology & chemistry. You may also take the local MCAT exam held in Pakistan as a replacement to the SAT 2.
4) If SAT II exam has not been taken then the US MCAT exam is also acceptable.

Lahore Medical & Dental College offers student two academic program options – undergraduate medical education (MBBS) in which students are accepted in the first year class for the five years program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Medicine  and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S). Our college of dentistry offers undergraduate dental education (BDS) in which students are accepted in the first year class for the four years program leading to the degree  Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.).
