The Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) was established in 1977, by Begum Saida Waheed as a non-profit community hospital for women and children with the purpose of supporting and augmenting services provided by the government. Realizing the acute shortage of nurses and midwives, she set up a school of midwifery in 1978, which was upgraded to a school of General Nursing in 1995 and to a College of Nursing offering post basic diploma courses in 1999

Eligibility Criteria

AMISSION IS SUBJECT TO THE CRITERIA SET BY THE PAKISTAN NURSING COUNCIL & UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES
Please find below the eligibility requirement for our various programs
Basic/General Nursing

  • F.Sc Pre-Medical 50% marks (1st Preference)
  • Matric 55% marks in aggregate Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
  • No Married candidates will be considered
  • Successful completion of the FMS Entry Test and Interview

One Year Post Basic Diploma in Nursing

  • Diploma In General Nursing Midwifery
  • Latest registration with PNC
  • Last 3 years good performance appraisal report ACRs
  • Duly recommended by the Reporting/Controlling officers (NOC).
  • Only female candidates will be considered.
  • Entry test
  • Interview

4 Years BSc.N Program

  • F.Sc Premedical 50% Marks (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
  • Entry Test Clearance
  • Age Limit 18 to 25 Years
  • Medically fit for Nursing Training

Post RN 2 Years Program

  • Registered Nurse + Midwives
  • Diploma Post Basic in any Specialty
  • At least 3 years work experience
  • Entry Test Clearance
  • Medically Fit
  • No objection certificate from respective department (if Govt. Employee)
