In an unofficial discussion of Dunya News and Dr. Shabbir Lehri (President Pakistan Medical and Dental Council ) , Dr. Lehri told that from session 2016 the admissions in Private medical and dental colleges of Pakistan will be regulated by Govt. The Admissions will be given purely on merit and there will be role of Private medical colleges authorities in admissions processes .
Private medical colleges grant admissions on Donation basis and not on merit. To implement the central induction in private medical colleges the final decision will be taken in the next meeting of PMDC.
