In order to celebrate Independence Day with full enthusiasm and to highlight  positive image of our beloved country, TDCP is organizing photography competition at TDCP website www.tdcp.gop.pk.Students of  Higher Secondary Schools, Colleges and Universities of Punjab are eligible to participate in the competition. The proposed Terms and Conditions of the competition are as under :

Terms and Conditions:

• All entries must be submitted TDCP website www.tdcp.gop.pk.
• Photographs based on following themes shall be considered.

Heritage in Punjab      (Buildings)

            Culture of Punjab        (People cuisine, dresses & festival)

            Nature in Punjab         (Landscape, flora & fauna)

            Socio Economic Development in Punjab

• Each contestant can submit maximum 01 photograph of any one the topic  above.
• Photograph size should not be more than 20/30 inches (3000×4500 pixel on 150 resolutions) and should not be less than 12/18 inches (1800×2700 pixel on 150 resolutions.
• The picture upload size should not exceed 8 MB.
• The images should be in “JPEG” format.
• Do not use Watermark.
• Photographs that have won an award in other contests will not be considered.
• Photographs that have already been published shall not be considered.
• Photograph must be taken in 2016
• Entries will be judged by Eminent Photographers, Creative Directors and Imaging Experts.
• In each of the theme, entries captured not only by cameras, but by any digital imaging device, including smart phones and camcorders, will be accepted, providing an opportunity to nurture a new imaging culture.

The 2016 Independence Day Photo Contest begins July 20, 2016 at 09:00:00 a.m. and ends July 31, 2016, 04:00:00 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules. This is a skill-based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winners.

Important Note

We strongly urge you to submit photographs that are un-manipulated and real. We want to see the Punjab through your eyes, not the tools of Photoshop. Please do not digitally enhance or alter your photographs (beyond the basics needed to achieve realistic color balance and sharpness). If you have digitally added or removed anything, please don’t submit the shot. We look at every photo to see if it’s authentic, and if we find that any photograph is in any way deceptive, we’ll disqualify it. Dodging, burning, and cropping is allowed only if it makes the photograph better but please do not overdo it.

 How to submit photographs

The photographs shall be submitted at  www.tdcp.gop.pk . After the submission deadline, voting shall take place. Please complete required information about you and when/where the photographs was taken.

• The last date will be July 31, 2016, 04:00:00 PM.
• Late submitted photographs will not be included in the contest
