    1. The admission process for the following public sector medical and dental colleges (in alphabetical order) will start from 1st October, 2015:
      a.	Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore
      b.	Ameer-ud-Din Medical College, Lahore

      e.	Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore

      g.	Gujranwala Medical College, Gujranwala
      h.	Khawaja Muhammad Safdar College, Sialkot
      i.	King Edward Medical University, Lahore 
      j.	Nawaz Sharif Medical College, University of Gujrat
      k.	Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Multan 
      l.	Nishtar Medical College, Multan
      m.	Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad

    2. All those candidates having domicile of Punjab or Federal Capital Area (Islamabad) who have scored 82 per cent or above aggregate marks (excluding Hifz-e-Quran marks) as per PM&DC formula, shall be eligible to apply for admission on Open Merit basis in Public Sector Medical / Dental Colleges of the Punjab.

 

    1. As per PM&DC Regulation, the aggregate marks will be calculated by adding the marks of a candidate as follows:
      • Matriculation or equivalent –– 10%
      • HSSC / FSc or equivalent –– 40%
      • UHS Entrance Test 2015 –– 50%

    1. The aforementioned condition is not applicable to candidates seeking admission against any category of reserved seats (Disabled Students, Under-Developed Districts, Overseas Pakistabnis/Dual Nationality Holders, and Cholistan) who can apply if they fulfill basic eligibility criteria as laid down in the Prospectus.

 

    1. There are 14 seats available on Reciprocal basis for Punjab domiciled candidates in the medical colleges of Balochistan, KPK and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Candidates applying against open merit seats, that is candidates with 82% and above aggregate score, can exercise their option for these seats as well. No separate application will be invited for these seats.

 

    1. The Prospectus and Admission Form will be available, free of cost, at UHS Lahore, Rawalpindi Medical College Rawalpindi and Nishtar Medical College Multan, as per given schedule. The candidates will have to provide the attested copies of their SSC,FSc (or equivalent) and Entrance Test result cards, Entrance Test Admittance Card and domicile certificate to get the Prospectus and Admission Form. .Those who want to apply on reserved seats shall also provide (in addition to the aforementioned documents) the attested copy of the following additional documents to get the Admission Form:
      1. Disabled students shall attach the copy of a Certificate issued by a specialist working in a Government Hospital describing the nature of disability;
      2. Under-Developed Districts: attested copies of Certificates from the Heads / Principals of the concerned educational institutions where the candidate has studied from class one to twelve. These certificates must be dully verified by concerned EDO (Education) and DEO (Colleges) and countersigned by the DCO of relevant district.
      3. Cholistan: attested copy of the certificate issued by Cholistan Development Authority clearly stating that the candidate is a Cholistani by birth and has actual residence in Cholistan.
      4. Overseas Pakistanis (Not Dual Nationality Holders) shall submit the copy of duly filled certificate given as Annexure IV of the Prospectus, issued by the concerned Embassy of Pakistan. Dual Nationality Holders shall provide the attested copy of their foreign passport.

 

    1. Duly filled Admission Form, complete in all respect, can be submitted, only by hand, at the same centre from where the Prospectus was received as per given schedule. Online submission is not available.

 

    1. Candidates will give their preference for medical and dental colleges on one single Admission Form which once given shall be final and cannot be changed subsequently. An applicant shall not be considered for a college he/she has not named in his/her order of preference. One candidate can only submit one form. There is no need to submit separate forms for MBBS and BDS.

 

    1. Hifiz-e-Quran Test: Muslim Hafiz-e-Quran will be awarded 20 additional marks which will be added to his/her HSSC score, provided that he/she passes the Hifiz-e-Quran Test conducted by the University. To appear in that test, those Huffaz-e-Quran who have an aggregate score of 82% or above marks, will have to get themselves registered for the test at the University as per given schedule. They must bring the original and attested copies of their Matriculation, FSc / HSSC, Entrance Test 2015 result card, Hifiz-e-Quran Certificate issued by a registered madrassa, Entrance Test Admittance Card and a colored photograph (size 3.5 cm wide x 4.5 cm high) at the time of registration and Hifiz-e-Quran Test.

(i) Registration for Hifiz-e-Quran Test 10th to 16th September, 2015, (excluding Sunday) from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm
(ii) Hifiz-e-Quran Test 17th to 22nd September, 2015 (excluding Sunday) at UHS only
(iii) Availability of Prospectus and Admission Form 1st to 10th October, 2015 (excluding Sunday) from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm
(iv) Submission of Admission Forms (Open merit, Under-developed, Disabled, Cholistan, Overseas/dual nationality) 1st to 10th October, 2015 (excluding Sunday) from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm
(v) Medical Board of Disabled Candidate 12th October to 15th October, 2015
(vi) First Selection List (MBBS) Friday, 30th October, 2015
(vii) Commencement of classes in medical colleges Monday, 16th November, 2015
(viii) First Selection List (BDS) Thursday,10th December, 2015
(ix) Commencement of BDS classes Monday 21st December, 2015

IMPORTANT

    1. No other document (e.g., Birth Certificate, B-Form, etc.) shall be acceptable in lieu of the domicile certificate of the candidate. Any candidate found to have domicile of more than one place shall be disqualified.
    1. Any candidate found to have submitted forged certificates or fake document at any stage of admission may be permanently debarred from admission to any medical/dental college.
    1. Forms once submitted shall not be returned. Incomplete and unsigned forms will be rejected.
    1. Once the Admission Form is submitted, no revised result card or increase in marks will be acceptable. Similarly, results declared after the submission of admission form shall not be accepted for admission in current session.
    1. Applications / Forms received through post shall not be entertained. No Admission Form shall be entertained after due date for submission.
    1. Candidates are advised to study the Information Booklet/Prospectus before filling the Admission Form.
