The charges for the prospectus are to be deposited in cash Rs.500 at the Admission Office counter in person. Requests by post should be accompanied by a bank draft of Rs.600 (within Pakistan);US $50 (outside Pakistan) made out to Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University.

(Crossed cheques and postal orders are not acceptable. Please do not send cash with
postal requests)

Fee Structure
Selected students will be required to confirm their intent to join the college by depositing the following fee within a week of announcement of selection.

Total Fee US $ 18,000 per year (All inclusive)

5% withholding tax will be applicable on fee. The tax rate is subject to any further notification by the Government of Pakistan.

– It is necessary to submit copy of NIC of the parent or guardian in the accounts department, at the time of fee payment.

If a seat in the first year class is not confirmed by the date provided by the college, it will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. No further claim of admissions by the incumbent applicant will be admissible in such an eventuality.

Shifa’s Entrance Test
a. For Local Students

  • Shifa’s Entrance Test (conducted by National Testing Service-Pakistan)

Local applicants, whether they have submitted completed application or provisional, will be required to write the Shifa College of Medicine’s Entrance Test which will be conducted by National Testing Service (NTS). The Entrance Test is an essential requirement of the Admission Process for all local students. The results of the Entrance Test make a very significant contribution towards the computation of the final merit of applicants. Higher the score in the Entrance test better are the prospects for selection.

It is a 2-hour test based on multiple-choice format. Entrance test will be held on October 04, 2015 in the major cities of Pakistan

  • Quetta
  • Peshawar
  • Lahore
  • Multan
  • Faisalabad
  • Muzaffarabad

Subject to minimum of 200 candidates, otherwise candidate will be assigned next nearest test city). NTS will confirm about the test details (Venue, Date & Time) and dispatch roll number slip to each candidate through courier service, 12 days prior to the Entrance Test.

List of candidates, appearing in the entrance test will also be uploaded on National Testing Service (NTS) website(www.nts.org.pk),one week prior to the Entrance Test.

The requirement for admission will not be complete without the Entrance Test or it’s alternate. Consequently, the applications of all those candidates who fail to write the Shifa Entrance Test will not be considered beyond this stage.

The medium of instruction in the college is English, and applicants must realize that adequate proficiency is essential in both verbal as well as written English. Simply appearing in the test of English comprehension is not enough.

b. For International Students(Alternate of Entrance Test)

The Foreign Nationals, Dual Nationals Overseas Pakistanis and students passed Grade 12/ A-level from foreign education system can apply on foreign seat.

  • Applicants applying on International seats are required to submit their SAT-II scores.
  • Sat-II in any three science subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics.
  • Minimum score requirement is 650 each in any two science subjects and 550 in the third subject.
  • SAT-II scores should not be more than 2 calendar years old.
  • Dual Nationals can apply on both seats by submitting two different applications.
  • The University code for submitting SAT II scores is 7393.
  • The applicant has to appear personally for the interview. Skype facility will not be provided to any candidate.
