TRANSPORT:

A fleet of 25 buses, which has been acquired by the college along with 19 buses on contract, is used to transport 3000 students daily to the college and back to different parts of Jhang at very affordable price. This is a unique facility that the college offers to its students. By the grace of God, this facility runs very smoothly with the co-operation of parents and college staff. A transport officer looks after the whole exercise. A diesel pump provided by shell Pakistan Ltd. is in place in the college campus to supply diesel fuel to college buses.

LIBRARY:

A well-stocked library as a pocket of mental edification is serving for the students. It is well-equipped with computers, internet facility, latest books, journals, and a rich reservoir of CD’S, DVD’S, magazines, newspapers and reports of national and international interest. To broaden their vistas of knowledge, the students have access to it from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

HOSTEL:

Hostels offer on-campus boarding and lodging facilities to the student, only for boys. The menu is prepared keeping in mind the nutritional value of the diet for students. In view of balanced activities approach, evening games and morning physical training are regularly conducted for physical fitness other than studies and preps.

ELECTRIC GENERATORS:

Two high power generators of 100KVA and 16KVA are serving the purpose to the students during the college hours in general and boarders in particular during load shedding and electric power failures.

COMPUTER LABS:

Four computer labs, one in each wing, cater to the needs of not only the computer science students but also others. A variety of software packages is available including word processors, spreadsheets, database and high level languages. Computer instruction starts from class I onwards.

SCIENCE LABS:

Three science labs (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) each are located in Senior Boys and Girls Wings. They are spacious enough, will-equipped and up to the requirements of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad and Cambridge University (O’ Level and A’ Level). Every year, Board/Cambridge authorities officially select them for practical exams.

CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY O’ LEVEL AND A’ LEVEL EXAMINATION CENTRE:

Previously our O’ Level and A’ Level students had to go to Faisalabad to sit the exams. By the grace of Almighty Allah, we turned out to be fortunate to get the examination centre set up in Chenab College Jhang by the University of Cambridge .

OTHER FACILITIES

MOSQUE:

A beautifully constructed mosque, which gives an elegant look to the viewers, offers the facility of congregational prayers.

BOOKSHOP:

College bookshop not only provides the books, items of stationery but also the uniform and Photostat / Photocopying facilities to the students at competitive / reduced price.

BANK:

A branch of National Bank of Pakistan working on the campus near the main gate of the college to facilitate the students and parents to deposit their college dues and deal with other transactions of the customers living in the outskirts of the area.

CAFETERIA:

College has a spacious building of cafeteria with two halls catering for boys and girls separately. Cafeteria committee makes sure that food stuff is fresh and hygienically handled and sold out according to the price list approved by the college.

CRICKET GROUNDS:

There are two cricket grounds having 7 cricket turfs of international standard. Underground electric and water supply has been provided and alluvial soil spread all round the grounds. This facility is unique in district Jhang and is being availed for Inter-District, Division and Pakistan Cricket Board matches.

Two practice turfs and one cemented wicket with protective netting are also available for net practice.

EVENING GAMES:

Evening games including hockey, cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton, squash, lawn-tennis & table-tennis are regularly conducted under the control of coaches for the boarders.

EVENING PREPS:

For boarders, two evening preps are the routine feature of the college under the supervision of housemasters & teachers residing on the campus.

REMEDIAL CLASSES:

Students can be detained for extra classes so that the weaker ones may improve through tests and extra hard work etc.

AGRICULTURAL FARM:

Agricultural farm is spread over an area of about 80 acres. Usually crops of wheat and sugarcane are cultivated. This farm provides the college some extra funds.

COMPUTERIZED COLLEGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:

All the offices and five teaching-blocks are equipped with Server-Based Networked Computers. Computerized College Management System covers the Accounts, Inventory, Transport, Attendance, Examination and Admission systems.

COMPUTERIZED EXAMINATION PAPERS & RESULTS:

The college has further ameliorated the examination system by printing out computerized examination papers and results which speaks of the fact that computer technology is being made use of befittingly to fulfill the demands of modern age.

MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR:

Educational resources are being fully utilized and exploited online with Cambridge University demands through which audio/video aids become the integral feature of pedagogically taught teaching material. A multimedia projector has been installed in the main computer lab, T5, T1 in this regard. Occasionally, this facility is used to show films relevant to their syllabus to O’ Level and A’ Level students and also in training the teachers.

Additional Subjects for Juniors:

Tajveed-ul-Quran, Calligraphy, Art and Music are compulsory subjects for students up to class VIII.
