LAHORE: (Friday, December 27, 2013): Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) on the second day organized a training workshop for awareness regarding use of Urdu language in English language software i.e. MS Word, Power Point, Internet etc at of Institute of Business and Information Technology (IBIT). A large number of teaching and non-teaching staff of Punjab University participated in the workshop while faculty members of PUCIT including Asim Ali, Kamran Malik and Ayesha Khan were the resource person. The basic purpose of the workshop was promotion of Urdu language and its use in purely English language-based software.
